SiCoTec´s Cockpit Solutions...
SiCoTec Engineering provides the capability to design, analyze and manufacture cockpit assemblies ranging from base shells to complete cockpits with a full compliment of consoles and flight controls, ready for integration.
Satement of engineering:
Our main knowledge is cockpits for helicopters, (EC135, AS350, EC225, CH53) and airplanes (B707, B737, A320). But we also have done cockpits for tanks (Leopard),
trains (Renfe, Radja) and helicopter anf ixed wings research programs.
SiCoTec cockpits may also supplied with integrated primary and secondary control loading system.
Commercial and military fixed wing and rotary wings SiCoTec cockpit manufacturing techniques featuring used cockpits refurbishment up to cockpit copies using ribbed aluminum construction and/or fiberglass shell.
For to be used on any motion system, combining aluminum and GRP (Glass Rainforced Plastic) allows SiCoTec Engineering to create components that are lighter in weight and have a higher tensile strength than traditional wood and fiberglass constructions.
The SiCoTec Engineering construction techniques offer exceptional durability and the highest fidelity avaible. This technique does not require standard molds that are necessary for conventional GRP modeling thus reducing the cost for limited run productions.
Additional options include non-GRP coated aluminum cockpits in painted and non-painted finish and marine and automotive applications.
SiCoTec Engineering offers following solutions:
- Copy of existing real cockpits using manufacturer CATIA data
- Cost effective upgrades existing cockpit and equipment
- Laser scanning and mechanical measurements of real aircrafts
- Refurbishment and modifications of used cockpits
- Refurbishment of chrashed cockpits
All SiCoTec Engineering cockpits can be designed and manufactured complied beginning FNPT II up to Level D, in accordance with FAA and JAR.
